How will the annual work program usually be implemented?
How will participants and target groups be involved in activities under the annual work program, and how will it reach a European dimension?

Throughout network's activities and those of the partners, target groups and beneficiaries of the activities were integrated into a mode of democratic cooperation and co-construction; it will therefore be the same in 2009. The public targeted by the actions are involved both indirectly through the actions of the partners’ associations because first in line to improve their skills, and involved through a direct participation in the evaluation of the training modules for their updating and in the analysis of training needs. Users are involved directly in the activities, both by evaluating the services they are using and by participation in events organized for reducing and fighting against violence linked to discrimination. Most network activities focus on network's strategy in terms of viability, sustainability, resources, information, awareness, extension and dissemination of present and future training modules for the purpose of building social Europe:
  1. Seeking funds to help IEFC become financially autonomous and give it accordingly equipment, technical resources and staff to operate, to achieve its sustainable corporate purpose, and to reflect on new tracks, proposals for EU projects
  2. Promoting EU coordination and stimulation of IEFC-SATURNE network by 2 annual meetings
  3. Pursuing at European level the organization of vocational training modules developed with the financial support of former Leonardo and Daphne programmes focusing on the prevention and fight against violence towards children, young people, and women, and to protect victims and people at risk, socially stigmatized and/or disabled by mental illness, immigration and poverty;
  4. Strengthening European coordination:
    • At first, organize an awareness and information activity to promote Daphne trainings across partner countries;
    • Organize the trainings on a yearly basis by integrating them into the national curriculum of continuing education and with this view, exchange best practices with partner countries least equipped;
    • Update existing Daphne training modules aimed at stakeholders through educational, scientific and pragmatic network co-operation (Joconda, Pégase, jocaste, Baltimédia, Polyphème, Stop it) depending on the resources and needs of partners;
    • Expand existing modules to all partners according to their needs
    • Exchange on good practices
    • Reactivate the network coordination centre for distance learning developed through the EU Leonardo and Daphne II programmes
  5. Involving users of mental health networks, networks of victims of violence, of violence perpetrators and networks of immigrant population in the process of development and evaluation of the trainings
  6. Refresh the quality process between the network partners for evaluation and activation purposes
